Terms of Service

1. What you're agreeing to
These terms cover your use of the CallKin web application (the dashboard, the public tap page, and your account). Buying a physical band is a separate purchase through our Shopify store, governed by the order confirmation and return/warranty terms shown at checkout there.
2. CallKin is not an emergency service
CallKin helps a stranger reach a guardian faster. It is not a substitute for calling emergency services, and lost mode is not monitored by us in real time. In any situation involving immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the contact information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You must be an adult to create a guardian account; dependent profiles are for people in your care, not additional account holders.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use CallKin to store information about someone who hasn't consented to being identifiable this way, attempt to access another guardian's account or data, or interfere with the service's normal operation.
5. The service is provided "as is"
We work to keep CallKin available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime or that the service will be error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, CallKin isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, for active accounts, note it in the dashboard.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought before the Norwegian courts, with Oslo tingrett as the agreed venue where permitted by law.
