About CallKin
Last updated: 7 September 2026
CallKin started from a simple worry every parent knows: the moment you look away and your child is out of sight, even for a second, even somewhere safe.
We built CallKin so that moment doesn't have to turn into panic. It's a wristband with a secure tag. Anyone who finds it, a shopkeeper, another parent, a stranger at the park, can tap it with their phone and instantly see how to reach you. No app to install, no account for them to create.
Who it's for today
Right now, CallKin is built for parents of young children, the moments where a child might wander off in a crowd, a store, or a playground, and a fast way to reach a guardian matters most.
Where we're headed
The same idea applies well beyond young children. We're planning to support elderly people and people with medical conditions or disabilities, anywhere a quick, private way to reach the right person could help. We're also exploring the possibility of extending it to pets.
Built with privacy first
The band itself never stores a name, phone number, or medical detail, only a secure link. You control exactly what's shown to whoever scans it, and you can edit, export, or delete your information at any time.
Who's behind CallKin
CallKin is built and run from Norway by Martin Gigstad, a sole proprietor (enkeltpersonforetak) registered in Norway under organisation number 938 201 935. It is a small, independent operation rather than a large company, which means the person answering your email is the person building the product.
Guardian accounts and contact details are stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. Every company that handles any part of your data, and what each one does with it, is listed in our privacy policy.
